These two were so much fun to work with. We had a blast playing with the balloons and being at the park. They let me try a couple of new things and so we just had a good time. It's really fun to work with couples. They usually want to play and make out - so we get a lot of good candid pictures!!!

I'm so excited about this shoot. I got this cute paper for background and have been wanting to use it and I had the opportunity here. Plus the cute bows and flowers on their heads were so bright and I think made the pictures turn out really cute!

I haven't posted for a couple months because I get so busy around Christmas that some things I have to let go and posting is one. So I thought I'd start the new year off with some new pictures of the cutest kids in the world. I've been wanting to try some bright "studio" pictures that are almost cartoonish and so this is what we did. Funny how I've had it planned, but Oldest child thinks he's too good to pose for mom, Middle girl lost her bottom tooth and now won't smile, and Baby is two - enough said. But they did turn out really cute and I can't wait to get some of these printed and on my wall.

So I had a super fun time doing this. It sparked some of my creative energies (which was what I was looking to do) and I found myself looking for red everywhere. It's funny because it's because the first of spring is kind of dreary and brown everywhere and colors like red really pop. I started enjoying seeing a brown field with a red barn or trailor. Stella Claire is my third and final child and she is the joy of our lives. The cake pictures were taken in October when she turned one and I finally worked on them. Three boys just chillin!

I've taken the Rawlings family pictures for about 4 years now and this is the first time "K" has really liked it. I don't think we could even get her to smile the last time! She is sooooo adorable so I'm glad we got many many smiles this time!

We've done the fall look a bunch of times with this family so we decided to go "Urban" and try an old building. I like the results!!!

This is one of my good friends Vanessa. I've known her for about 6 years and although we don't see each other much, it only takes about 2 minutes and we've caught up - she's that kind of friend. This family has been through more then their fare share of trials this year. Gracie was born with a heart condition and is quite the little miracle. When Michelle called me to take pictures I was so nervous because I know how important they are to them. Gracie was a little fussy because she likes to be on her back and so we did a lot with her that way. I really am excited with how they turned out. Gracie even smiled for us (after her chapstick of course). You can just tell how much love this family has for one another and I was honored to shoot for them.

I don't do a ton of missionary pictures - maybe people don't know I do them, but I was exctied to take Tyler's. I know I'm not the first, but I had the idea of the whole "wheat/field is ready to harvest" shot and so he was kind of my guinea pig. I really liked the result we got! He doesn't go for another six months but I wish him the best!

I don't think there is a baby whose grandparents love her more then this one's. Not only do they adore her, they help raise her and honestly, she is the apple of their eyes. My hubby went to school with Matt and Chelsea - way back when!!! Go Payson Lions! All of their friends had a get together a while ago for Chelsea's birthday and I gave her a gift certificate for some pictures. I'm glad I did, cause they turned out so cute! We went to the Star Mill in American Fork and I fell in love with the couch. A little funky, but I just think little kids on an old couch look so cozy. Their little boy kept saying, "I'm gonna put this picture in my room!" They were super fun!

The way they were dressed, the chair, and just the timing of the day made me think Shabby Chic and so I turned a lot of the pictures kind of a vintage soft look!

Ben is my sister-in-law's brother, so we're practically family:) So I was so excited they wanted me to take their wedding pictures. They are a cute couple and so easy going. They were fun because they weren't too serious and had a lot of cute ideas. I've only done two weddings at the Provo Temple and am pleasantly surprised by how nice it is there. The pink roses lining the whole walkway were so gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for a better day! As far as the little one's in the last picture, they are Ben's niece and nephew (mine too), and they were so cute all day, kissing and hugging and playing like they were getting married. I just had to add them into my collection here!

When I first talked to Brianna and she said that Scott was "only" 6'4 and she was 6'3, I knew these guys were gonna be gorgeous! What a fun couple! These pictures were taken at the Tahitian Noni in Provo. The Blake family was so cute and really fun to take pictures of. I love how they were all in white - it just makes it look so etherial (spell?). The pics turned out gorgeous, I just love them.

Okay, besides these being two cute boys there's a funny story about these guys. When I showed up to take their family pictures last November, who is in the car, but one of my childhood friend. Our parents are still in touch, but I haven't seen him for years. They were referred to me by some friends of theirs and because I have a different last name, they didn't know it was me. Crazy how life loops in circles.
